Why did Riverina farmer Sam Barnes buy a second Serafin Ultisow?

After sowing more than 1,500 hectares a year with his first machine, Sam upgraded to the latest Serafin Ultisow STPL Row Crop model featuring the Ultiforce hydraulic downforce system.
Working in the self-mulching grey clays of Hay, NSW, Sam says the combination of hydraulic downforce, 20-inch discs and easy in-cab adjustments delivers consistent seed placement across varying conditions.
"The Ultiforce is really easy to adjust with just the dial inside the tractor cabin."
The Ultisow also excels in heavy residue, with Sam noting it handles cotton trash exceptionally well while maintaining excellent penetration and seed placement.
